So far the anime shown has been interesting, and I have enjoyed some of them. However none have claimed a position at all high on my favorites list... (Course, in two weeks we're supposed to play Rurouni Kenshin, then the week after is Gundam Wing ;D both of which are in my top favorites.)
Get Backers was fun to watch, as was Card Captor Sakura (though it gets more interesting later on in the series). Saiyuki was okay, and the music was enjoyable, but it felt cliche... Lines were extremely predictable (and were predicted countless times during the showing, with people saying something, which the characters must have heard for they repeated it...) It was a funny show (particulalrly the intereactions between the main characters) and the Dragon was cool (though the transforming into a car was kind of lame in my opinion). But it still felt like I had to almost make an effort to try to like it... It's never a good sign for a series if you have to try to get into it.

and that is why we only watch the first four eps. For cases like Saiyuki! *L* (Even purlple hair and elf-like ears couldn't save it x.x)
I really liked GetBackers! (psst, anyone have it that I could snag?) In fact, *points to the first volume of the manga that's now on her shelf.* Gots it for half price, too! MUH HAHA.
I want to see Gundam Wing. I've heard decent things. As far as you can for a "love it or hate it" series like the Gundam franchise.
And I'm actually enjoying Elfin Lied... *not sure what that says about her! *L**

Lol. It's okay that you like Elfen Lied and I don't. Obviously different people are going to have different combinations of likes and dislikes. Speaking of like, Gundam Wing rules! (Along with Rurouni Kenshin, Fruits Basket and Inu Yasha... and...) But I definitely think GW deserves a chance, even from people who don't care for giant mechs/robot series. I happen to enjoy watching those series (Gundam in general, Big O, etc...), but Gundam Wing rocketed to my favorite position with in the first few episodes I saw, and has not left my top favorites ever since. (I saw the english version played on Toonami in the afternoon... so I have no idea what the Japanese version is like. But I can't imagine that the original version would really be bad.) In addition to giant mechs/robot battles (which means more explosions, and in the case of robots less innocents killed in the battle... and by innocents I mean situations like back when horses where used in battle and shot out from beneath the rider to handicap the human soldier...), Gundam Wing has an enormous amount of character depth and soul searching. It addresses the whole issue of war vs. pacifism. I think it's a great series. (As if you couldn't tell by my rambling on about it... )

HORRAY FOR KENSHIN!!! ;D Ahem... Okay, I know, we haven't even played that yet, but it's next week! So, Great Teacher Onizuka was rather fun. I didn't particularly care for when Onizuka kept going "zombie" but the show was rather amusing. I loved when Onizuka met the video game kid and asked what kind of games he played! It proves that watching shows with friends is more fun than watching on one's own. (Cause when the kid said RPGs almost every single person cheered. And then when the kid said Wild Arms Geoff nearly deafened the people sitting near him...) That was a fun showing. But I can't wait for next week! Kenshin Rules!

Lots of Gundam goodness! Of course Gundam Wing is my favorite out of all the Gundam series I have seen.
08th MS Team is all right... But each Gudnam series has its own unique qualities which make it interesting.
I saw most of the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. It was interesting, but I was never quite sure what I thought of it... and then they stopped playing it a few episodes before the end! Gah!
I saw a few episodes of SD Gundam? (The seriously deformed one... which felt like the plot was deformed as well, so I never bothered to watch more.)
G Gundam was an interesting one. There were moments of extreme tension and ansgt right along side with moments of such cheesy, silly absurdness that it made one shudder... However I did like how the series ended, even if the series itself wasn't the highest quality.
And that is all I've seen of Gundam so far.

Stardust Memory was good. I'd say it was like a more streamlined version of the orgional Gundam, even though it was not a remake.

Does anybody know what the name of that second show we watched "the other day when we were hanging out" was? It was rather interesting. I might be interested in searching for it/keeping my eyes open for it, but knowing a title would make it a lot easier.

Do you mean "No e in"? I think that's what it was called. That's pretty close anyway. It was rather interesting. Certainly different. Hope that helps! ^_^

That schedule isn't what we actually watched over the past few weeks, is it...
