Ooh. Outlaw Star is coming up. I remember watching that on toonami with my brother, never got to see all of it.

That schedule isn't what we actually watched over the past few weeks, is it... How so? We did watch Gundam Wing, and Gundam 08th MS team, and Kenshin... just most of it was before break.... cept for 08th team which was supposed to finish last meeting. (I don't know if it did, since I didn't stay till the end of anime club...)

Mar. 24 we watched something else as the first showing (bah, what was it... it was quite good... anyone know?), not Generator Gawl, so this week we were only on the second week of that show, not the third like the schedule shows. So which of the remaining first showings is changing, with everything (in the first showing, not the second) pushed back a week?

I don't know what they are going to do about the schedule for the first showing... I do know that the reason we didn't watch Gawl that time had somthing to do with not having it on hand... which is why people "got together to hang out and watch anime"... That was the show that I was asking about, that Rowana and I were discussing the name for.

Noein... looked it up, and that is ineed what we saw (that took a while, I was looking at all kinds of other shows first...)... it was quite good, I'd like to see the rest someday.

It would be interesting to see more of that show. It had a rather intriguing plot, if similar to many other stories... (Though obviously it had its own unique twist on things.)

Yeah, I definitely want to see the rest. But we only watched four of that, yet we had to watch the whole thing of Gawl, in all its painfulness and inexplicable breaking of every single possible item on the list of things not to do in time travel storylines...

Heh. I actually don't know how Generator Gawl ended, because I didn't make it last week. (Easter weekend with the family...) But I have to admit, I was playing my game boy during gawl which shows that it was not riveting enough to hold all of my attention. Normally the first time I see a show I like to focus on it, without multi-tasking...
But ah well. The quest for truly good anime continues! (Course, as far as watching stuff in anime club is concerned, it is complicated by the fact that we can't watch all of the longer series due to time constraints...)

We could play them at 2X speed and practice our speed reading.(Anything sped up 1.3x begins to sound like that old Speed Racer).

That would be interesting, though I think the goal for what we show at anime club is to find as much variety and high quality shows to play as we can. (At least, out of the ones that we could actually manage to show much of/aren't way too long...)

Well, Anime Club is done for the summer, and people are going home soon. So I wish every one has a great summer! See you in the fall! (Hopefully I'll see some of you even sooner, for expeditions, ice cream, etc.. )

The ending was a confusing mess that made no sense... I thought that the show wasn't so great the first two weeks, but the last part exceeded them both combined... between a confusing time-travel plotline, a complete lack of sense, some really stupid decisions that made no sense (so this character dies, they get a chance to remake reality, and ...they leave them dead? What the heck? Stupid!)... don't bother watching the rest, it's not worth it.
