I have no idea if there are any characters from FF VI in KH2 or not... I seem to recall someone saying that there were though.
(Course, I've not yet played FF VI so I wouldn't recognize them if there were any... Sigh, so many games, so little time!)
I've heard that for Disney characters they have Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean) and some Tron character (but I've never heard of Tron before).
I still have Chain of Memories to finish! I think I'm about half way to two thirds of the way through it, but I'm not sure. I guess one doesn't have to play it before 2, but I would like to.

I would be if I had a PS. As it is I'm stuck mooching of other people. I haven't finished the first one yet. Will have to get back to that someday.

Yes, you should. Kingdom Hearts is a great game. I really enjoyed playing it. (It would make my day, even when I was having difficult days... although I admit there were some very frustrating points in the game as well...)

I've heard that at least one FFVI character is in KH2, but I haven't played any of the Kingdom Hearts games or much of FFVI, so I can't say anything beyond that...

Amano and Nomura are character designers at SquareEnix. Amano did all the final fantasy artwork up till FF7, then Nomura stepped in and has done most since. Nomura's style is very animeish while Amano's is abstract impressionist. Nomura Sephiroth Amano Sephiroth You can Google Image Search for all the FF7 characters in Amano's style to see the striking difference. What I don't like about Nomura's version of Setzer is that his hair is spiked up, while in the game it was long hair: compared to

I see what you mean. (Even if one of the pics didn't show through on this computer...) The contrast is striking.

They previously hadn't had Square characters that Nomura didn't make, I think, but obviously changed that this time...

I had not heard of it, but that's not surprising since I don't pay attention to X-box stuff...
The game I'm trying to save money for is still Kingdom Hearts... Though if I could somehow save up enough money for a new system, then I'd want to get the GCN and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess when it comes out. (It looks awesome ... )

So difficult... and so frusterating... one mistake and you lose a character and have to restart the mission, it gets tedious... the games are great, but the death (and save) system is cruel. At least if you don't want to accept character deaths, since lost characters are gone forever (strategy game...)...
