I am glad I can be a part of this club with you all. The interesting people are enough of an incentive, but the fun we have and the satisfaction I get from helping out with the website and stuff is just really great. ;D

Yay! I'm glad you enjoy yourself! ^_^ I also have a great time with everyone. It's the people that keep me coming back.

I love anime club! Friday nights are now the highlight of my week. (Dinner, Anime Club, Stargate...) As much as I love anime, having all the anime-crazed (or just plain crazy) people around makes it twice as entertaining, amusing and fun. Not only are great stories and art more fun when shared with friends, but hanging out with this bunch reminds me to not take life so seriously. (I was perusing face book the other day , when I found a quote that kind of fits. "Don't take life so seriously- you won't make it out alive anyway.")
Alight, I've school work to do (preferably before my class starts) so I've got to get going. (But I will definetly post more later! I didn't realize we had a message board! Yay! yes, I am hyper. I haven't been sleeping well recently, and then while I was trying to study today they decided to test the fire alarm. I DISPISE fire alarms. I realize that they save many lives, and for that I am grateful. But that does not stop the hidious things from grating on my nerves and driving me beyond my normal levels of insanity.

You know, there are plenty more good people out there to enjoy club with. I keep running into Anime fans who don't come to club and I wonder, how do we cram them in the door?
Of course, if we put somebody in every seat in DPC, it wouldn't be as good a time because so few people would stand out, it would kinda be a loss of community.

I can think of at least one person who likes anime, but does not feel she likes it enough to make it her "culture" and is not interested in hanging out with crazy anime people.
It's a pity, but that is her loss. More people in the club would be nice, but it's also nice to be able to join a group where you actually know a large number of the people in the group.
It will probably work out that so long as they know it exists, those who have the anime insanity will find their way to the club.

It was amazingly quiet in anime club last week (with a lot of people missing, some in particular... )... but yes, that's far from the norm.

I know, it was almost like a deserted place or a library at times... Eventually it got to the point were all of the people I usually hang out with had left... So since I was hungry, I decided to leave and go find food... Hopefully more people will stick around this week.
